Raw video CHARLOTTE, NC,April 09/09:An attempted burglary ended with a high speed chase and crash in Charlotte, North Carolina on Wednesday.

It all began when three men were seen breaking into houses in the town of Cornelius. A neighbor spotted them and called police.

When police arrived the three jumped into a stolen Toyota Four Runner and sped off.

The chase continued into neighboring Huntersville, where police threw out stop sticks and deflated at least one of the front tires.

The men came across a Town of Huntersville maintenance crew doing groundskeeping and stopped. They took their truck and trailer at gunpoint and sped off again.

They continued driving south into Charlotte where they eventually crashed the truck on a highway overpass.

They then continued running on foot, but were overtaken by police.

No one was injured in the chase.
