Atlantic City residents awoke this morning at 7:00 AM to the crack of explosives and a large cloud of dust.

Demolition crews imploded the 9-story Sand’s Casino Hotel parking garage.

The blasts pancaked the structure into a pile of concrete and steel.

The demolition helps clear the way for a $1.5 billion mega-casino that will be built by Pinnacle Entertainment.

The 21-story, 500 room casino was imploded in October.
